About Us

Maltnhops Brewhaus poured it's first beers at the end of September 2018. Situated at the entrance to the Hunter Valley, and a short distance from Newcastle, the brewery is a great spot to try a large range of craft beers that are all brewed on site. Our taproom boasts 11 taps; all flowing with a huge range of beers - set to please any visitor from the craft beer aficionado to the novice. We aren't just all about beer; with a range of hand selected wines, spirits, soft drinks and our brewed seltzers. 

Our packaged beers are available from our Cellar Door Tues-Sat from 12pm for takeaway, or enjoy a coldie while you check out our brewhaus. Our team are always on hand to explain the ins and outs of beer brewing, or speak to one of our team to organise a brewery tour. Our venue is a great spot for corporate events, birthdays and parties. Our conference facilities are available for hire; with free wifi and AV facilities available. 

Maltnhops offers delicious 10" pizzas cooked to order and are available from 12pm, with gluten free options available also.
